Author's Rebound From Drugs Inspires Others
The article, Laurel Author's Rebound From Drugs Inspires Others, written by Raymond Lane, is in The Washington Post-owned newspaper, The Gazette. There are a few corrections (like Anacostia where I grew up is in Washington, DC and my father worked for the DC and Federal Governments his entire career; including as a DC City Councilman). Bottom line, the heart of my story is in tack. Also, I thank God for the testimonies I'm living through and the doors He opens to share them with others.

Amazing Faith
Your Faith is your most powerful possession.
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
A Prophetic Word for You . . .
Refuse to allow your circumstances to circumvent your faith. Your faith is your most powerful possession. Do not open the door for the enemy to undermine your effectiveness through doubt and unbelief. Be steadfast and immovable. Believe, and then speak. Speak out of the abundance of your heart with undaunted faith. Speak forth the word of truth, says the Lord.
Romans 1:17 For in it (the Gospel of Christ) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
April through June will be a time of favor to those in order. This will be a time of favor with man because we will be walking under the umbrella of God's favor. Seeds planted in the first quarter will begin to spring up. It will be a time of advancement, accomplishment and prosperity. The rewards will be well worth the effort that was required to get in divine order.
This quarter will be a time of revelation with regards to God's purposes for the end of the age. The hidden manna (mysteries) of God will come to His people. Covenant promises will be fulfilled in this season, and it will be a time of great blessings.
**from Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin by Bill and Marsha Burns The Lord has used them mightily in encouraging and uplifting me and my fellow members of the Feast on The Word Gathering & Fellowship. Email them for free subscription. ft111@spiritofprophecy.com. Tell them Stanice Anderson referred you.

Article re: Patrice Gaines, My Mentor --Wanted: Women ready to renew their lives
BoomerGirl.com: Wanted: Women ready to renew their lives
On a personal note, I feel like sharing that this article is about my good friend, writing/book/publishing-world mentor, Patrice Gaines. She is the friend who forwarded my Food for the Spirit email life-stories series, to her then-literary agent, Denise Stinson, who in-turn contacted me and thus began the life of my first book, I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME: One Woman's Life of Faith and Triumph, with a major publishing house, Walk Worthy Press/Warner Books. Change is is possible. I am a witness. I was a heroin addict but God stepped in and extacted me from a hopeless existence, gave me purpose, resurrected my dreams, and put people like Patrice in my life to help me make the transition to His thrilling plans for my life. I love her and now that you've read this article too, you understand see why I thank God for allowing our paths to intersect. She's a stunningly beautifully woman with an equally stunningly beautiful spirit!
